First Steps is a privately owned Pre-school and Day Nursery established in April 2014. We are registered with Ofsted to provide childcare and early years education to children age 5 and under at two settings in Crewe – one on Bradfield Road, and also on Richard Street/West Street.

Activities
We offer a wide range of exciting and stimulating activities and resources to enable our children to investigate and explore in a safe and secure environment.
We use a lot of natural and open ended resources to encourage our children to develop their imagination and creativity. Research shows that time spent outdoors can have huge benefits to a child’s health, well being and learning. Here at First Steps we spend a lot of time outdoors and provide wellies and all weather suits to enable our children to access the outdoor environment whatever the weather.

Children with Additional Needs
We are an inclusive nursery where we welcome children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The staff at First Steps have many years experience of providing specialist care and support for children in all areas of SEND.
Government Funding
